This week, we say a heartfelt farewell to Shona Brooksby, who is retiring after 12 remarkable years with our business.
Shona joined us in the Cube Datastore days, where she played a key role in developing new business across Scotland. Over time, she transitioned into a national role, leading the transformation of our online presence and significantly improving our website performance and brand visibility across the L&R Storage group.
Her work has had a lasting impact, and she’s been instrumental in helping us evolve and grow over the years. Beyond the numbers and milestones, Shona brought integrity, insight and infectious positivity to everything she did.
As her long-time colleague Danny Oleksy put it:
“Shona and I have worked side by side for 12 years now. In the days of Cube Datastore, we worked tirelessly to further the brand and grow our little Scottish enclave. I knew if Shona was in front of a prospect, she would close the deal on new business.
I will miss having Shona as part of the team and wish her the best as she takes the time to enjoy a quieter life where she can do as she pleases.
We all wish her the best and all the enjoyment she can grasp with both hands.”
Managing Director James Stoute also adds:
