We have worked with L&R Storage for a few years now, starting with them handling our storage needs when our own facility became full. We quickly realised that we could take away all the risk, along with the day to day duties and bills that go with having your storage facility, and instead send all of our documents to L&R. This has been a huge success. As well as removing all H&S issues, it has freed our staff up to do more of what we want them to do rather than moving boxes around, retrieving files and re-filing them. We have been a client since 2006, when we realised there wasn’t enough space or adequate security for our critical and sensitive documents at our Bellshill facility. Over the years we have developed a strong and happy working relationship with all at L&R. It has been the same team over the years, and they are very friendly and knowledgeable about all things relating to document management. We know that if we require a file that it will arrive on our desk within the appropriate deadline. As all our boxes are barcoded at L&R Storage, we are able to notify them when a retention period has expired, enabling the box contents to be confidentially destroyed. We then get issued with a Certificate of Destruction which allows us to remain GDPR compliant. This is cost effective as we are not paying for items we don’t need to retain. We also use their confidential destruction service, and after one email to Annamarie, I will have a driver at our office to collect the shredding sacks for confidential destruction.
